Weitz Equine Veterinary Services Payment Policy

Weitz Equine Veterinary Services is dedicated to providing our clients with the best possible care and service. However, due to an increased incidence of long-held, unpaid balances, our ability to provide high-quality services has been more challenging. In order to establish clear expectations for payment moving forward, WEVS is establishing the following policy.

Payments for Services Performed

All payments are expected at the time of service. Any other outstanding balances are due within 30 days unless other agreements have been made with WEVS. All payment plans/agreements must be completed prior to or at the time of service, unless approved by WEVS.

For your convenience, our office accepts cash, Venmo, checks, credit cards, and Care Credit. You are allowed to keep a credit card on file (except Care Credit) to charge in the event you are not available for an appointment or emergency. This card may be charged if your account balance goes over 60 days. A late fee computed at 20% annual percentage rate will be added to any remaining balance 60 days after the invoice date.

We are unable to provide veterinary care to accounts with unpaid, overdue balances.

Returned Checks

There will be a $30.00 fee assessed for any check returned unpaid by your bank or financial institution.

Future Services

Unless prior arrangements are made with Weitz Equine Veterinary Services, payment in full will be expected at the time of service for any future services.
